1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how bookings, cancellations and refunds are handled at Mr Electric Mobility, an authorised distributor of Sokudo Electric India. Our goal is to make the process of buying a Sokudo electric scooter clear, fair and transparent. By placing a booking or making any payment to us, you agree to the terms set out below.
2. Booking & advance payment
You may reserve a Sokudo electric scooter by paying a booking or advance amount. The booking amount confirms your interest and allows us to allocate or arrange the vehicle of your choice. This amount is adjusted against the final on-road price at the time of delivery. A booking is considered confirmed only once the payment is received and acknowledged by us.
3. Cancellation by the customer
- You may request to cancel your booking before delivery by contacting us through the details provided at the end of this policy.
- Cancellation requests should be made as early as possible to enable a smooth refund process.
- If any processing, handling or administrative charges were disclosed at the time of booking, these may be deducted from the refundable amount.
4. Cancellation by us
In certain situations — such as non-availability of a particular model or colour, pricing errors, or circumstances beyond our control — we may need to cancel a confirmed booking. In such cases, you will be offered a suitable alternative or a full refund of the booking amount paid to us.
5. Refund process & timeline
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- Refunds are generally completed within 7–14 business days, although the exact time may depend on your bank or payment provider.
- We will keep you informed about the status of your refund wherever possible.
6. Non-refundable charges
Certain charges that have already been paid to government bodies or third parties on your behalf may be non-refundable. These may include road tax, RTO registration fees, insurance premiums, or other statutory charges. Any third-party finance or insurance fees are subject to the respective partner’s policies.
7. Vehicle returns & exchange
Once a vehicle has been registered and delivered, it cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged, except where covered under the manufacturer’s (Sokudo Electric India) warranty for genuine manufacturing defects. Any such claim will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms and procedures.
8. Finance & EMI cancellations
If your purchase involves finance or EMI through a third-party partner, any cancellation or refund will also be subject to that partner’s terms and conditions. We will assist you in coordinating with the finance partner where possible.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
